Cabin 8
Cabin 8 was a home originally built in 1949. It had an addition put on in 1967,
and was remodeled in June of 2006.
There are two original coach lights either side of the kitchen entrance from the
dining area that we've
left of the original design and fixtures. Each bedroom has a queen
size bed, closet, dresser, and night stand. The living area has two queen sofa sleepers,
a 27" TV with a DVD and VHS player. The kitchen is very large with lots of
counter space.
The home has a basement but is not included as part of the rental unit.
The yard is very large, and is very private and quiet with a view of the resort and the lake.
It is convenient to use as a home base for fishing on Lake Mary (one of the best
Minnesota fishing lakes) for bass, walleye, northern, crappie, or sunfish, or to
access any other lakes in the region. Fishing at a Minnesota lake
resort is something that the entire family can enjoy, any time of year, and year after year,
especially in the Alexandria area..
A snowmobile trail is just off the lake which is accessible from Big Foot
Resort, and the trails are regularly groomed. Lake Mary usually freezes over
fairly quickly in the fall, so if the snow flies, the riding, skiing, or ice
fishing is soon to be enjoyed.
Our area also has many golf courses, from
nine hole to a 36 hole course.

It can comfortably sleep up to 10 people.
