We have two pools, one large pool for swimming, the other for wading, an on Site 18 hole mini-golf,
a 24 hour laundry, game room, bath shower facilities, meeting room with kitchen,
a huge inflatable water raft to lay and play on, peddle boats,
beach volleyball, bikes, yard games, and much more.
Big
Foot Resort is located near Alexandria Minnesota (just off
I94) about 8 miles South West of the City, on one
of the finest fishing lakes in the state, Lake Mary.
We're sure you will quickly appreciate the excellent fishing of
Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike, Sunfish, & Walleye (even from our docks).
Water clarity is over 6 feet in Lake Mary, so you know
that the
water is very clean.
Lake Mary also boasts over 2500 acres of water (approximately 5 miles long,
and 1.5 miles wide), so you can be active in most any water sport, and not have to worry
about others.
We rent Pontoons, and aluminum boats/motors to
help you enjoy your lake vacation experience.
The use of our peddle boats is free to Big Foot Resort guests
, as are our water rafts, bikes, lots of outside
games, including horseshoes, tetherball, basketball, volleyball and badminton to name just a few.
Our office has a meeting room with a full kitchen, game room, fishing licenses, live bait, tackle, groceries, clothing
and
souvenirs.
Near the cabins and RV park is a
playground with lots of washed sand for
the kids to play in, a couple of swing sets, and a small fort.
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation where the kids have plenty to do, and those fishing can enjoy the thrill of the catch, and the taste of fresh fillets.
